Stealing stat boosts sounds great on paper, but most boosters will outspeed it. DD Zard, Gyara, and Shift Gear Magearna aren't threatened by Marshadow at all, provided they can oneshot it. It does work well against Coil Zygarde though.

Fighting types aren't great in the current meta, so Marshadow will rely on its Speed, Ghost-typing, and movepool. It has competition from Mega Lopunny, but I can see it being a good non-Mega alternative.

Unless you switch in on something that already boosted like a SS Garchomp Spectral Thief's secondary effect will be situational as fuck and barely be used at all, most people will probably only be using Spectral Thief for damage since the only other physical options are Shadow Claw and Shadow Punch, there's also probably gonna be a lot of people running Shadow Sneak over Spectral Thief precisely because of that (Assuming they're not running both)
