When pokebank becomes usable for S&M I'm pretty sure it is allowing mons to be transfered from yellow etc onto S&M through it. Not sure if it needs to be the digital copy or not, because I bought the digital even though I still have the original cartridge on my desk lol.

They have stated they're changing the way it works with the next update. So I am not entirely certain how they will do it. It has been spoken about though.
