That's a false rumor. As far as is known, he was never intended to appear in XD
He's pretty much a Hilbert/Hilda situation.

He should of been a double/multi battle only trainer in the battle tree.

It'd be an excuse to put the amazing Colosseum music in the main games, too.

Colo was much harder due to what Pokemon were available and what teams bosses had. The final boss WILL steamroll you no matter what unless you act fast to stop the skill swap cause of the slowking/slaking combo
