>water pokemon no longer gain access to Ice Beam or any other ice move
There, I balanced that meta for ice types.
No you didn't, because most ice types are still slow and defensive.
I never understood why ice is weak to rock. It makes more sense the other way

Rocks smash ice to bits
>>30754170
No you haven't. Most Ice type Pokemon have shit movepools, stats and abilities.
>>30754370
Glaciers carve mountains and ice break rocks from the inside.
>>30754170
Half the ice types in that picture are god damn physical Pokemon
>>30754467
yeah, but rocks are an ingrediant for lava which melts ice ok?
Anon, Ice would still be shit. It's the defensive side of Ice that sucks.
All that you did was nerf Water types that aren't part Ice.
>>30754467
That's why it's super effective against ground.
>>30754170
Ice isn't busted, GameFreak just won't make good ones
None of their stats work with their typings except Weavile, Walrein and Mamoswine
Ice needs bulk or it needs huge speed and attack. It's trash overall right now because everything is slow and frail for some fucking reason.
>>30754549
Frost wedging weathers rocks, not ground
>still not snowball pokemon that increases size and speed each turn
Damn.
>>30754589
>no bulky ice/poison
5 weaknesses and 5 resists. Probably the best defensive type ice could be paired with but it still doesn't exist.
Should've been alolan Muks type desu
>>30754716
ice cream!
Trying to make ice types good defensively is a lost cause, just go all in on offense where the types actually does well, give them powerful moves that make ice beam look sub par in comparison, freeze dry was a big step in the right direction.

Permafrost/Snowball
Ice type, special/physical, 80/70 BP, 10 base PP
Freezes the body of the foe pokemon, making it slower. -1 priority on all moves until it switches
Gives an use to all the slow shitmons.
