Having a compound eyes users at the front of your party raises it to 20%. Bring a frisk user as well and you can easily check if they have it.

Have a fainted compound eyes user at the front of your party with the frisk user in the second slot.

SOS battles, kill all the Hakamos with Thief/Something else. Takes ~10 minutes.

Little guy at 1 HP will spam work up and it will hurt even if you're overleveled, so bring either Sand Attack or Evasion.

I did this, but I got lucky and the Jangmo-o summoned a Kommo-o on the second turn, which has a 50% of carrying the Razor Fang. Finding the initial Jangmo-o was the real issue.

I used a mimikyu, immune to all of their attacks because they're fighting/ground, just swapped in exxegutor with frisk to check if one had it.

I've done it multiple times now. I wanted my Weavile competitive so I had to breed in Icicle crash. Which of course meant I had to get another razor claw. It's not too bad if you use butterfree with compound eyes.

Frisk only activates when the frisker swaps in, so unless you want to swap every other turn it's useless.

Just train a butterfree to level 50, teach it psychic, thief, roost, and acrobatics and just thief+acrobatics anything that comes in

Was using a Butterfree, but RNG was really fucking me over. It has been doing that for a lot of my 'dex filling adventure this gen.

Speaking of pokemon who hold evolution items, why is it that in Battle Tree you can buy every single trade evo item (Including for pokemon which aren't available until bank) EXCEPT FOR razor claw and steel coat.

You could get Gible and Goomy around the halfway points of the games they debuted in, though you could get Gible once you got your second badge in Platinum.
