Meta side, now the stat pairings are unbalanced. It TRIGGERS ME.

You realize that OPs point was that, hoenn and kanto starters got megas that actually improved the originals in concept and in battle while the alola starters simply got exclusive zmoves that had a fancy animation and nothing more. Malicious moonsault isnt any better than the dark type zmove, its just a strong dark type attack.

The megas they already gave are here to stay while the rest of the mons are making due with sloppy second mechanics like zmoves.
