In the ''Train On'' trailers of Pokémon Sun and Moon, the boys names his Miniors after the way they say shooting star in his lenguages. Based on that, what are your Minior´s name? (based in the way they say shooting star in your homeland)
Estrela Cadente (Portuguese)
Shooting Star

Stella Cadente

das cool.
I name all my 'mon after professions. I have a kadabra named psychiatrist. So i think minior would be called astronaut or astronomer.
Seren wib. I remember having this thread when that trailer first came out
I know someone in my family called them something like "sky tears". Might have been a translation, but I couldn't tell you the original language. We're a clusterfuck of Europe.
>>30724293
What a emotional name, anon. When i was young i always want to see a shooting star but i live in the biggest city of my land, so there´s no way to see it. In 2013 after a blackout i managed to see one.
Stjerneskud
Estrella fugaz.
Not a very good name for a Pokémon imo.
>>30724304
>walking home at midnight after my birthday party last year
>shooting star flies past right above me
The rest of the year wasn't very good but it was still cool

>>30724166
Does minior colour vary per encounter or is it like vivillion where certain people have a certain colour?
Vallende ster but meteoor sounds better.
Réalteolaíocht
>>30724706
is not like Vivillon
>>30724751
Nevermind I'm an idiot. It's 'Realta reatha' but 'Dreige' for meteor sounds cooler. I had never actually heard the Irish for shooting star before so got confused when looking for the translation.
Sternschnuppe
>>30724762
If 2 colours breed, as they're genderless, is it just a 50/50 which colour the egg ends up?
Spadająca gwiazda
poland
>>30724806
Genderless can't breed with each other, only with Ditto. So blue Minior means you get blue Minior eggs.
>>30724806
idk... i think its random. But it worth a check.
>>30724397
That's just an out of season easter egg!
"Meteor" (wtf man) but you could also say "ylli me bisht" I guess
By the way it is albanian

I named my Minior Radium because it's a putrid, radioactive green color.Radium isn't actually green
>>30724348
Norge, boi
>>30725098
Then why was radium painted onto things to make them glow greenish in the dark?
>>30725080
>not having a proud immigrant heritage
Literally no one is indigenous to The Americas, anon.
>>30725120
chemical reaction?
>>30725080
>thinks that your existence is not result of a enormous cultural exchange
idk you anon was a indigenous
I don't think there's a common specific word for it. Most would call it either Meteor or Meteorite because they don't know the difference, or even Comet.
Maybe Falling Star.Meтeop, Meтeopит, Кoмeтa and Пaдaющaя Звeздarespectively. Fuck the greeks.
kōtiri
1. (noun) meteor, shooting star.
Ko ngā ingoa atu mō te kōtiritiri ko te matakōkiri, te tūmatakōkiri, te kōtiri, arā atu (Te Ara 2011). / Meteors, or shooting stars, are called kōtiritiri, matakōkiri, tūmatakōkiri and kōtiri.

>not using a damp psyduck

It wasn't the radium that glowed, with was luminescent paint that would glow when excited by energy, like how glow in the dark things glow after exposure to photons. The luminous compounds were mixed with radium and the radioactive decay caused radioluminescence. Green glow was caused by phosphor. Hence phosphorescence.
>>30725120
Because Phosphor is what emits the light.
Radium and other elements just make it do it.
>>30724166
I just named my green one MikeWazowski
Shooting Star/Sternschnuppe. Half Afro-American Half German.

People say if you look at the moon for too long in a telescope, that you can go mad. I think that is quite true because, you know Patrick Moore? He’s been looking at me for years and years, and yesterday I saw him do a shit on a salad.

Named mine Monjor.
Didn't know about the shooting star thing and that's how my brain was so I decided to roll with it and name them that, my red little ball of Destruction (or of jobbing. either or)
>>30725080
I guess you could say they're miniorities.
I always thought it was Stjärnskott, but apparently that's only used locally? The term is often associated with rising stars in sports and music, so I guess the actual name, Stjärnfall is a bit more fitting.
Kamina. I walked around until I could find the light blue colored one that vaguely reminds me of the color of spiral energy. Toss up between that or Kittan, since his mech was actually star shaped
>>30725862
I was watching the episode as I browsed passed the thread, how could I resist?
>>30724166

Yellow: Cen
Blue/Indigo: Sirius
Violet: Vega
Couldn't find any Green Minior however
>>30726761
there´s no green star in universe.
>>30724824
Really? Fair play. I have a load of blue non-naive rejects but i didn't realise two non gendered couldn't breed unless one was a ditto.
>>30724348
NORGE FOR FAEN
>>30726884
Yeah I learned that too so I tried to find some other astrological body to name it after but I didn't really try very hard
Réalta lámhach
I named my red Minior Sundowner. He's FUCKING INVINCIBLE!
Étoile filante.
Shootin' Stars init senpai
I got a light blue one and named it Temsik. I hope someone will get that.
>>30724166
Trying to get all seven with their own names, so far I have "Eeylamou" for the green one and "Luma" for the yellow. If I were to use one in battle, it'd probably be Plum, my purple one.
>>30724166
Üstökös
I named mine Mira after the planet from the mediocre game known as Xenoblade X.
>>30729893
god tier taste anon
>>30730248
For what, the name, or for thinking Xenoblade X is mediocre?I really loved exploring the world, but the game and its sidequests and job classes and so on were all structured so horrendously, and the Skells really killed any sense of exploration and just muddled the battle system even further, and basically I dropped the game after getting to Cauldros. This comes from someone who immensely adores the original Xenoblade and was sad to see that the sequel kept almost nothing of what I liked from that game.
>>30726759
german
>>30730373Oh, and on a more controversial note, I loved a lot of the music.I even grew to really like NLA's music.
I couldn't really find a relevant thread so I'm gonna ask here.
I am going to be using a Minior for doubles in battle tree (and maybe amongst friends). I was thinking of pairing it with either Clefairy or Clefable to support it but I don't know which would be better. Any Suggestions?
On a side note...
>>30730373
I feel the exact same way about those games.
Shooting Star.
Sealg Star or lámhach réalta
Sternschnuppe (German)
I'd call it Bothynus because I'm a pretentious little shit, locally it'd be called "Flyin' Night Light, What Th' Fuck D' Ya Mean 'Shootin' Star' Davvo Ya Fuck Cunt".
Also how do you use this fucking thing.
>adored this little starlight from first spoilers
>honestly expected it to be a shitmon
>months pass, pic related
>more spoilers, moves and stats
>hype goes from cautious to reaching critical levels
>get game, find minior
>it's shit
>other people are amazed about how good it is
>it's aggressively shit
>other people are talking about MVPs
>mine's jobbing harder than Vegeta
>stuck in some kind of binary state of either OHKOd or "not quite under half"
>Shell Smash only makes this somehow worse
Is there a cure for my aggressively shit skill at videogames?
