How do we fight the influx of pokemon go nostalgiafags. Pokemon was our fandom and now it gets referenced on fuller house. We need to take pokemon back from the normies.

This thread is a little too late. People only cared about GO for 3 days.

Pokemon it's literally one of the most famous brands in the world. It was always a normie thing. Now fuck off back to smogon with you.
>>30704920
We don't. Normies always win
>>30704989
The people posting in /ppg/ are not normies. The fact they're still playing a shallow game proves it.

The fad has been and gone. Some people will come back, sure, but it's never going to reach the level it first did.

Pokemon has always been referenced in other places/shows. Pokemon is a zeitgeist brand. Ben 10, grimm adventures of billy and mandy, even as recent as american horror story's last season referenced pokemon. even scientists have used Pikachu as an eponym. Get over it
GO made me get back into pokemon (I initially skipped gen VI). Yeah it was hot trash but I'm still grateful for it.

dude pokemon was constantly getting referenced in shitty sitcoms back in the day too
