I got every pokemon on my moon team up to max affection with rainbow beans, its the easiest way, I beat the entire elite four without healing because they kept toughing it out.

The feature would be fine if NPC trainers could also use it.

This feature was designed for nuzlockes in mind. To build a bond with the Pokemon and have it pay off.
