>Florges weighs as much as Silcoon
>Ivysaur is lighter than Duskull
>Bidoof outweighs both Ninetales and Dragonair
>Elekid is the same weight as Mega Mawile
>Darumaka is heavier than Primeape
>Rampardos, Salamence, and the Kanto Starter final evolutions are all lighter than a male ostrich.
Everyone always goes on about heights, but pokemon weights are really fucked
bone density man I don't have to explain shit

>Darumaka is heavier than Primeape
Doesn't seem like a problem to me. Primeape's mass seems mostly fur.
>steelix only weighs 800 pounds
>>30698738
>Steelix weighs less than a bison
I don't think the people at GF understood how weight worked
>Tauros is a fucking bull
>Weighs less than 200 lbs
>"""pocket""" monsters
Electrode is light enough to float on water
I'm waiting in vain for them to finally just up and retcon the heights and weights to actually make sense.
>Wailord weighs less than a dolphin
>>30699088
This makes sense, I think it's basically 90% made of energy with a plastic-like shell
>>30699088
You think that's bad

It's obvious Gamefreak doesn't actually care and just adds it as random fluff. 1'0, 1'4, 1'8, 2'0, 3'3, and 3'11 are their favorite go-to heights for "we don't give a fuck just pick something".
I find it kind of funny that Mudsdale is one of the few realistically-weighted Pokémon, and it's about as heavy as a 30 foot tall bamboo rocket and the Behemoth.
Primal Groudon is only 200 pounds heavier than normal Groudon despite being noticeably larger
