level 10 salamence is an actual thing you can get though

1 - Pokemon can stay on the GTS for up to 24 hours afterwards they'll be returned to their trainer

2 - Mythical Pokemon cannot be requested. Deoxys is the exception.

3 - Abilities are displayed

4 - Maybe. MAYBE a voting system for unreasonable trades. You can tag an unfair trade and if it gains enough tags the Pokemon will be taken down.

The equivalent for Celesteela is Buzzwole, and its Pheromosa for Kartana.

In my experience Kartana is fucking useless as exchange coins. Out of the four Kartanas I got, I saved one for competitive, and another for collection purposes. The 3rd one I traded for a Pheromosa (took me 2 days until someone took it). The 4th one sat an entire week on h GTS until I puled it out. After I got Celesteela I tried using that 4th Kartana to get QR Scanner exclusives, but not even like that.

I ended up wondertrading it in frustration and got every single QR exclusive by breeding Vanillish en masse

You can search without legendary pokemon, but it still shows things like the 3 birds or dogs or whatever. I have no idea why they don't show abilities already though that shit would mean there would be less reason to cheat, and less bullshit in general by increasing the value of breedable mons and giving one less reason to cheat
The only reason to not do it is the more difficult it is to get stuff on the GTS the less you'd need to buy their shit in general

That said, actually searching for Pokemon you want on the GTS is shitty. They really need to take out the level range option, if nothing else.
