I actually like the protag's default shirt a lot. Is there a T-shirt that is as blue as it? I don't really like the pastel blue shirts offered in the Festival Plaza (I have sun).

Oh, it's absolutely a step back from XY on that front. I'm also absolutely disappointed in that there's nothing suitable for being on a beach with, let alone any form of swimwear. I mean, this is set in what's basically Hawaii, a set of warm islands surrounded by warm ocean. It's a waste to not have swimwear.
That aside, where did you get that hairstyle? I don't think I've seen any option like that yet.

Not that anon, but then don't make your protagonist 11. Don't get me wrong I didn't have any problem with 10/11 year old protagonists in the past, but if we end up with worse customizations options because of it, it becomes a problem.

I don't think they will either, they're just being really overly cautious and don't want to include anything that could possibly be "offensive" to anyone. Same thing happened in the anime.
