I've been through tons of "what's your bro" threads and such, and I have NEVER seen Unown mentioned anywhere. It's basically the third-worst Pokémon strengthwise behind Cosmog and Cosmoem, but at least they're cute and evolve into something good.

Even though they needed more water pokemon based on fish, they could have at least made it a bit interesting or unique. It has a single typing, poor stats, boring design and a pointless shiny colour palette. It's pretty hard to make pokemon that no-one has as their favourite, but they managed to do it.

Yeah in randbats it's OP. If you get one with a Choice Band it's GGGGG. Fingers crossed they don't start level balancing for stats as well as for tier.

I did a kick out of using an unown team in playground competitive once though.

Used one when I was training a Smeargle in Y to be a dedicated catcher. He was the only mon I had at the time that knew Soak. Completely useless to me otherwise
