Which new pokemon do you like for the obvious one, but don't forget some of the buffs some previous underachievers received; Z-Moves adds a new wrinkle that can in a few instances at least be a bit cleverer than a one shot nuke, and there's some new characters and waifus that may have stuck out to you.

I'm really liking Wishiwashi. I dig the animation, the concept, and he's reliable and solid in game. Haven't gotten back into online this Gen yet, but I suspect he'll be UU at the very highest which is good for me as I prefer the lower tiers. Nice to see some of my old favourites in Pelipper and Gigalith have new life too.

My favorite addition to competitive gameplay was the buff to Pelliper but I really wish we could get mega stones for Pokémon not in the Alola-dex (especially Pidgeot)

My favorite additions are probably the new alola variants. Seeing new life be breathed into old shitmons without having to devote to mega-evolutions is great.

Kinda bummed out they were pretty much only gen1 but its a start.
