My problem with Alola Persian is how it looks in the anime with a body of a normal Persian with a big head.

It's an objectively good design to be honest, it took a flat faced cat like the Scottish Fold and made it a Pokémon.

I kinda love how it looks ingame, Defog discount Garchomp is cool, but honestly he needs more tools in his movepool before getting a mega so he can truly shine.

Alolan Persian actually looks better in the artwork than it does in-game. The art has it faced directly towards you, so you don't actually see that well how fucking round the face is from a profile shot. From the art you would maybe have guessed that the face was flat, but no, the whole face is literally a sphere glued to the body.
That said it still looks like shit in the art, just slightly less shit.
