Donphan is basically unforgettable. Great concept and execution, and first introduced in a Pokemon Movie that wowed kids with Pokemon they had never seen before.

I agree with your notion OP. Gen 2 has highly forgettable and bland new Pokemon, which is why I generally consider Gen 2 the worst.

It's a lot easier to name the ones that are forgettable since a vast majority of Pokémon from Gen 2 are memorable. So I've gone ahead and marked the forgettable ones with a red X for you.
