Ive noticed while going through the Battle Tree there is actually a blatant delay before the start of the turn when you pick your move. AI is definetly reading your move and figuring out what to do in that time

Did anything have a status condition? I've noticed any action won't start until the status conditions are done doing their animations on screen. Like the poison bubbles, electricity, little flames and stuff.

and people wonder why, some people loth the battle frontier and everything like it.
and its made worse by the fact all the breeding related items except everstone are in the bp shop, and breeding is necessary to actually succeed in those facilities.
