Anyone else miss Mega Evolutions? Z-Moves feel kinda unsatisfying. Like it's just a press-button-to-kill thing. Doesn't help that the animations get extremely dull after a while.
Z-Moves are good in concept but to abandon Megas entirely for them feels like a really big mistake. It's supposed to be usable by anyone, yet it's obvious that the stronger Pokemon will often use them better anyway.
I feel like they should both be developed more upon rather than one or the other.Can't wait for them to be ignored for Super Abilities in gen 8

One thing I like about z-moves is that they're aren't overpowered as fuck and I'm not being spammed by them online.

Honestly I wouldn't say they're too overpowered. Some are, absolutely. And I agree they need balancing, but also some Megas being buffed. Abomasnow for example needs a fix. A mega could've saved him, yet only set his fate as shitmon in stone.
I think they're moreso overpowered because there are a lack of really good ones and the ones that are really good are too good to be balanced.
Hopefully Game Freak is more willing to change abilities and such in the future. They seem to be experimenting with that this gen. I mean, I never expected Pelipper to be good or Masquierain to kill anything
