they havent done a 3rd version since gen iv but as >>30606691 said a 3rd version for the Switch is incredibly likely. given all the evidence in sun/moon itself, making a new version for the switch would just be stupid on nintendo's part, plus they need something strong within the release year of the switch to cement a foothold in the market seeing how shit the Wii U turned out, they need all the help they can get with a new console launch
