What is the double-type who doesn't exist (yet) but you'd like to see?
Ice/poison here, both my favorite types, a pokemon able to poison and freeze its foe would be amazing.
>Bonus point if you describe a pokemon who has this dual type.
I imagine either a sea snake belonging in some artic sea, or a very old reindeer, frozen ages ago but containing a dangerous and ancient virus.
Grass/fire, base it off a spicy plant.
>>30584652
Always pictured something like this.
>>30584652
Haburnero
A normal/poison platypus
>>30584621
A grass/fire tiki.
Like we should have gotten in god fucking damn Hawaii.
Watch as we get a region set in Australia, with no Komalas to be seen because Gamefreak is fucking bizarre.
a Bug type caterpillar infected by cordyceps
it dies after its pupa stage and becomes a Bug/Ghost moth
>>30584750
>>30584775
It's a shit gimmick pokemon. I'd rather have a viable Bug/ghost
>Normal/Ghost
>Either a Zombie Pokemon or a Frankenstein monster Legendary with the Electric AND Fighting Equivalent of Steelworker
>>30585042
Came here to say Normal/Ghost.
I was thinking something more along the lines of more computer Pokemon (a la Porygon). Maybe a wireframe, with some glowing cores inside. Lore conveys concepts of "ghost in the machine" and "vaporware".
Normal/steel porygon3
>>30584723
We got four Tapus, a Tiki would be overkill.
>>30585066
Porygon ZERO
Is what Slowking is to Slowbro, a split evolution.
>>30585243
Im mad that GF showed us tapu koko, hyping up the possibility of the tapus being the new unused fairy combos, and instead gave us physical whimsicot, special azumarill and anti-bird gardevoir.
>>30585066
Hologram, maybe?
>>30584796
>Bug
>Viable
>>30585277
you called?
>>30585262
Ability similar to mimikyu, but the first attack does nothing because it's a hologram
>>30584652
How about a Protea pokemon? It reproduces through wildfires.
>>30585305
Having its evolution progress through voxel, pixel, and polygon graphics sounds nice for me as well.
>>30584681
I was kinda dispaointed with our first Dragon/Poison type, but since it has been done I'd like to see a Dragon/Bug.
Possibly base it on the japanese Mountain Leech crossed with some blind cave-dwelling lizardkinda like the Khezu or Gigginox in Monster HunterIt clings to the ceiling and then drops on you and swallows you whole. Or at least gives you a nasty nibble.
pic related, japanese leeches are big and ultra agressive.
>>30585258
But we got two previously unused Fairy combos regardless, Ghost and Bug.
>>30584621
A Fairy/Dark mon. Immune to Dragon, immune to Psychic, 1/4 on Dark, stab playrough and crunch!
Also, a non mega Fairy/Dragon
>>30585277
>bug is a shitty type meme
Say that to Scizor, Pheremosa, Buzzwole, Volcarana, Durant, Genesect, Mega Pinsir, Mega Beedrill, Mega Heracross, Shuckle, Forretress, Ninjask, Yanmega, Galvantula, Scolipede, Ribombee, Golisopod and the several other viable Bugs out there.
Bug has some of the best damaging moves in the game as of gen vii.
Fighting is my favorite type and we got a few new Fighting type combos this gen but I still want to see what a Fighting/Fairy would be. If Mienshao didn't exist I think something with that style would fit.
>>30584621
>>30585438
Electric/Fighting with levitation, inspired by Son Goku.
>>30585066
I've had the idea of a Calico cat digital pet with the signature patterning replaced by tv static. As it evolves more of the bugs in its code begin to manifest, eventually turning it into a Cheshire style trickster.
>>30585470
I always thought a Wallaby would be suited for that type.
>>30584652
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1sQmZ1EzhA
The Dictamnus genus produces volatile gases that are extremely flammable, even a surrounding temperature of around 95°F can be enough.
Since gen3 I've always had a specific line in mind. A ground typ rabbit that can either evolve into a ground/fighting hare or a ghost/fighting skeleton hare.
>>30584621
So far, the only Fairy/Flying line is Togekiss
Would be cool to see new mons that are immune to both Garchomp STABs
A Jalapeño pokemon, Grass/Fire.
Any post that isn't Fire/Grass or Bug/Dragon is objectively wrong.
Frozen generator Electric/Ice objectmon.
>>30584621
Combat/Fairy
Fire/Grass
>>30586177
>combat
what?
Ground/Fighting boxer kangaroo, who also kicks a lot
>>30586248
Ah, yeah, my mistake.
Fighting type.
fighting/ghost
I imagine something similar to haunter or dusknoir with the disembodied hands, and add in disembodied feet
>>30584621
Which combos of types/moves don't have perfect coverage yet?
I know there is
Ghost+Fighting
Normal+Fighting+Scrappy
Ice+Electric
Freeze dry+Water
Thousand Arrows+Flying
Fairy+Thousand Arrows
Anything that does get STAB on these that don't exist already and the ones I missed should become Pokemon.
>>30587798
We already have Marshadow tho.
>>30587798
?
>>30586025
Electric/Poison
Like some sort of sentient virus or something.
>>30590139
>Normal+Fighting+Scrappy
Literally Mega-Lopunny.
>>30584652
Or a burning bush legendary.
>>30584621
I want an Electric/Fire or Fire/Ice or Electric/Ice mon.
>>30591605
>Fire/Ice
This exists, and it's called any pure Water type.
>>30591552
>>30584684
These are pretty good
>>30584621
>Ghost/fighting mon
>They're the passed on spirits of powerful pokemon whose skills in battle have transcended the physical. They remain to help teach other pokemon and trainers how to be a master and continue to seek a great battle themselves.
I kind of wanted to avoid it being edgy, dark, or sad. Just sort of melancholy, but also still hopeful and awesome because these pokemon basically said 'nah, I wanna make sure the next generation's ready'.
>>30586301
That's kangas... Ho yeah, no.
>>30585042
Had an idea for this. A possum pokemon that "dies" when it plays dead for defensive purposes. Its ghost fights for it when needed and it revives when the fight is over.
>>30585410
I can literally say that to more than half your list though
>>30593041
Alternatively,it could be a skeleton
>>30584621
Dark/fairy because I want to see that type really bad. I also want to see something that starts off a generic cartoon angel/devil and gradually evolved into some pretty fallen angel shit.
>>30585042
I always wanted a Normal/Ghost Pokemon. Something like an unknown creature hiding under a common bedsheet with eyeholes in it.
Then this fucker shows up. There goes that idea.
A bug/dragon dragonfly
>>30584621
Bug/Ground giant sandworm
>>30597071
I almost feel like Normal/Ghost would be a sort of analogue to a regional rodent, in the same way that there's an apparently link between the Clefairy line and Gengar. That's just me, though
Poison/electric computer virus that hates Porygon
It was Dragon/Fighting for a while. Now it's Fire/Ice. Not sure how exactly it would work, but god damn it Ice barely gets any interesting type combos as much as other types, mostly because there's so few Ice types to begin with.
>>30597148
>wormadam sand
>>30595592
>that spoiler
This is an E-Rated series. Get that spooky shit out of here.
>>30591510
Nuclear/atomic could also use this typing with its energy producing but also poisonous nature
>>30597309
A GOOD Bug/Ground.
>>30597278
My playthrough of sun had me really wanting a ice/fighting type to fill in my type gaps, maybe a scrappy snowman or a yeti type thing
Fighting/Electric
A Boxer with Electric gloves ?
Dunno, but it would be cool.
>>30597341
That would be cool, some kind of radioactive anomaly could work for a regional form too
>>30597427
Uuuuhh ?
>>30597427
There's the crab but it's slow
poison/fairy not sure on what it'd look like though.
fire/fairy chibi genie
ground/fairy based off a brownie or leprechaun
>>30597494
Ha I even used crabrawler for a bit, that was a brainfart
>thousands of Pokémon
>none are Fire/Grasswith Chloryphyl
ooh, what about rock/ghost?
>>30585410
>Ninjask
>Golisopod
>viable
oh you really drank the kool aid
Normal/Ghost Schrodinger's Cat
Ground/Fighting Kangaroo
Rock/Ghost Tombstone
I think some Pokemon should have their types changed
Electivire - Electric/Fighting
Luxray - Dark/Electric
>>30584621
i always liked the idea of a pepper incorporated with a chihuahua as the first fire/grass
>>30598681
Oops meant 2 reply 2
>>30584652
Dragon Bug that's a Dragonfly
>>30585042
>Normal Ghost
A Cheshire Cat?
