I really liked Popplio. Primarina is alright too, but the original is so cute. I used way too many gen 1 mons. Magnemite, Arcanine, Kadabra and Snorlax lol

I kept my starter right up until I could catch a jangmo-o. I like rowlet, it just didn't fit with the look of my team and I'm very autistic about having a certain look to my team.

I used Litten for my first playthrough and kept him the entire time, was pretty good.
For my second playthrough, though, I boxed my Popplio the instant I could for a Grubbin. First time I've ever boxed a starter too.
