I've heard someone mention that the golf course being fully rendered is complete bullshit. You try to go there with a no clip cheat and you just wind up in pitch blackness.

I'm glad it got removed. None of the trials were fun. They were all stupid. There were no puzzles or challenges in the trials at all. They were all easy and retarded and poorly designed. Doesn't compare at all to walking into gyms of previous games and hearing that fucking awesome music and planning out your route of attack against all the trainers, or solving an ice sliding puzzle, or anything. The trials were ham-handed, rushed, and felt very short and made without care.

I'm glad I didn't have to run around a stupid putt-putt golf course and battle 3 dumb wingulls, then challenge a "big pelipper that glows and is strong woaoohhhhh watch out it is calling for help so difficult wow!!!!!!" as a retarded fucking waste of my time.

Honestly I doubt you know what you're talking about either.

I'm not going to pretend like I do, because I don't work for Game Freak, but I'm pretty sure the models are not the sole reason as to why Gen VI and VII run like shit. Yes, the models were made with the future in mind, but SM overall feels like it needed a bit more polishing all around to run smoothly.

You can create low-poly versions of the same models and keep the original ones seperate for future use. It's not like you'd be able to tell the difference on the 3DS's shitty 240p screen. Game Freak are just lazy programmers who are awful at optimising. They couldn't even fit Johto onto a Gameboy cartridge without Iwata helping them. It was because of his compression that they managed to fit the whole of Kanto in the game too.
