Would have been cool if they made mega aggron steel/dragon, although that type combo is pretty broken with only 2 weaknesses at 1.5 cause of filter. STAB dragon tail would be awesome though.

I don't get the hate for Ash-Greninja. to me he's just a cool looking frog w/ strong stats. I don't even associate him with Ash, he just doesn't look like him to much.
the only thing that throws me off is his form's name, and yet i like to imagine that it isn't named after the character, but more likely after the ash-looking "hair" (is that what it is?) that he's got, especially with the little bit of red in the hair, representing fire. overall, i think he's neat.
if you learn to stop associating him with the anime, people would probably like him much more.
