Poffin making was more of a chore than berry blending.
Sinnoh Contests took something bad and rng based and made you wait through two entirely boring segments to get TO that.
Cynthia's one of few good things about it.
Battle Frontier has always been overrated shit.
Platinum gave us the worst reoccuring character in the series at the price of a cool dungeon.
Roaming Shitfuck and the other two.
Galactic looks fucking retarded with a leader only topped in atrociousness by Lysandre.
Giratina is the edgiest pokemon only early teens liked.
EVs and IVs have been in since Gen 1 and 2 respectively. All it did was give "characteristics" to make it a logarithmic guessing game on what you had.
Most of these were post-game exclusive.

All Gen 4 was good for is PhySpec split, a handful of sinnoh mons, most cross-gen Evos, Cynthia, the new items, and HG/SS.
