I doubt they're going to bring following Pokemon back completely but Pokemon follow you at Amity Square so they would have to implement in some capacity in the remakes.

Though I'm really surprised GF went all out, they could have easily just done cutemons and be done with it. If this really is for Amity Square then maybe that's a sign they won't be lazy with the remakes this time.

-Pokemon stars will be completely remade to hd,the world,routes and stuff will be bigger than sm and you can see wild pokemon walking aroud like visible encounters

Why not both? Not in the meme way, but if they're gonna implement 3D models in the overworld, I don't see any reason why they can't use them for walking as well.

That's a lot of work for something that seems to only be used for a handful of pokemon in Poke Finder. Maybe they'll get used for something in the future, the whole idea of the ridiculously high poly models in Gen 6/7 is that they're the archetype for those pokemon for the future, so.

The most logical option was too much stress on the 3ds system. The models already lag the battles so just think how badly it would lag the overworld considering how much more stuff is already there. If anything the feature might be added on the switch pokemon game since the switch is going to be a lot more powerful than the 3ds

But all the models have low poly versions of them, if the game can already handle a few overworld pokemon it would have been able to handle one more. It seems to me that they were developing SM and Stars from the same base and just forgot to remove these from SM.
