Like N, she (and most of the characters in SM) actually have character, it's one of the main reason why Sun and Moon are great.

So, I liked Lillie. Didn't love her but I liked her. But I think she could've been done better.

How would you guys have improved her? I'm replaying SM right now and in the beginning she seems like a broken tape recorder, constantly repeating "I don't like to see Pokemon get hurt". In addition, it seems weird to have her afraid of helping Nebby despite being with it for the larger part of 3 months.

Imo, what should have happened was that she becomes more proactive in helping Pokemon after running away from her mom. In addition, (You) should've just leapt into action to help Nebby on the bridge without prompting from her if only to make her seem less pathetic.

I get the idea behind the bridge scene the presentation on the 3DS just wasn't good enough to sell it. She was supposed to be trembling, crying and at the border of emotional collapse.
