It was at the beginning of Akala. By the time MC reached their lab they could have done some research.

Also, Faba has psychic types as well and their Z actually suits him. Another wasted opportunity.

Makes sense to me. Psychium is located in the middle of a desert everyone avoids and Icium is in the peak of the tallest mountain. I think it's good that we had to explore to find some of them rather than just getting them handed to us.

I'm okay with it, but a few more forgotten trials would've been nice. Then again, Komo'o is the only one lorewise that would actively try to train itself for a ceremonial fight.
