There was a line of code found in the demo that hints towards pokemon following the player.

No someone has found out that there are low poly models for every single pokemon found in the full game's files, but no textures for them.

But the huge part is that every single one has walking and running animations. So we can view these animations by applying them to the full models.

What are they for? We don't know. Maybe they're bringing back following pokemon next game? Or maybe it's for Amity Square in the possible DP remakes? It's all just a guess.
