I got to 466 chaining alolan vulpixes (which constantly make snow mind you) while having the shiny charm.

Patience is key unless you're one of those people like my friends who just has a shiny magnet built into their hands for every single game.

I tried for shiny Cutiefly for twelve hours, total. Shit's tedious as hell, you're at the mercy of the RNG.

Its when you finally get really angry that you'll find a shiny. Not rate quit angry. You have to go past that. You have to be so angry that after you catch the shiny you stay around and continue murdering the species for a couple hours because you now hate them.
