Fun fact: Flygon was supposed to get a mega-evolution in ORAS but the artist couldn't come up with a design so they just dropped it. Now that mega-evolution has been dropped, Flygon is doomed to be irrelevant forever.

I run a Flygon in AS that is actually good and separates it's from Garchomp

Flygon may not have the raw power of Garchomp but it makes up for it and gives itself a niche with its awesome move pool.
