To me it seems like it would be hard to stick a harness on Dragonite. It's too round.

None of those others can fly so it makes sense that the only mon not in the dex is a flyer ie flew from another region. The others can't do that and would need to be locals.

Every review I've seen by people who are actual long term hardcore fans of the series have said that the games are better than gen 6 but still don't reach the quality of 5. The game is fun, but is missing so much that becomes more and more of an issue as you go.
