Fighting, too many of them are disturbingly humanoid.

Normal. It's the least interesting. Has good Pokemon, but sometimes you kind of want more variety in typings and more coverage on a team.

I hated Bug type back in the Gen 1 days, but there are some cool ones now like pic related and Golisopod.

The only passable Pokemon of that typings are Porygon line and Gallade.

Water dwelling Pokémon that aren't Water-types are great for this reason.

Rock, it's just an objectively worse version of ground and most people still confuse them because because for two generations the only rock pokemon you saw in game were rock/ground anyway.
GF pretty much treats it as the forgotten type too since it has one usable move, still no rock waterfall or psychic.

Just roll rock into ground and make something new.
