I prefer to play as naturally as possible with little to no exploits. I don't even change the time for event manipulation. I choose to play the game correctly.

You can't do that anyway. Time based events are disabled for 24 hours if you change the clock.

How can you "play correctly" if you save when you're done playing? To play "as naturally as possible" you'd have to play all the game in a single go, only saving when the game automatically does it.

The game has always featured a soft reset combination for a reason.

Even when you battle the GF employee, he says to the player something like, "I forgot to save before I battled you, but that's ok because I'll win anyways!" Not to mention various guides advise to save before battling legends.
