To be fair, getting to level 100 was becoming increasingly easier in previous games until this one. Easily obtainable lucky eggs, some sort of high level late game punching bags, especially ORAS's Blissey Bases. The highest repeatable trainers in SM being in the 60's and with the return of Gen V's experience scaling makes it sort of a step back in that regard.

That doesn't matter since they have Pokemon with high exp yields. A level 57 Cottonee is going to give much less exp compared to a level 50 Metagross.

my main gripe with hyper training is getting the damn bottle caps, you gotta either deal with poke' pelagos mining island so you can trade 30 shards for 1 regular bottle cap or hope you get lucky with the right lottery/haunted houses in festival plaza.

The whole point of this thread is how retarded it is to get mons all the way to level 100. Breeding is just as easy as it was in Gen VI, so for the vast majority of cases you're better of breeding if you want good IVs.
