Even worse. When I caught the Solgaleo it had a shit nature and a) I didn't have an Abra for this and B) I was too lazy to soft reset. I figured "well, fuck. Oh well, I could go grab that Cosmog post-game." and traded the original Solgaleo for a Lunala to fill out the dex. I found out later your game's cover legendary is necessary for the cross over.
