> S-so what if it's slow? J-just use Trick Room!
Does this actually work, or is it just a meme?

Work if you know how to balance between setters and sweepers
Dont try in singles
>>30483865
Well, trick room makes the slower mon move faster, so, i mean...
Since Singles is the ONLY format, and OU is the ONLY tier, it's a meme.Works decent in doubles.

One of the only things I miss from Battle Revolution was how Trick Room actually had an environmental effect while, well, in effect.
The little space distortions and particle effects were pretty cool, though I guess it would strain the 3DS a bit too much to have weather, terrain, AND Trick Room effects going on at the same time.Sidenote, I wish that Magic Room and Wonder Room were AT ALL usable. I like the escalation of weather, rooms, and terrain.
>"Just use trick room, bro!"
This meme makes me laugh so hard. Alolamons are so garbage.
Considering a lot of the top doubles teams right now involve trick room abuse I would say it's not a meme.
Oranguru + Torkoal is dirty if you're not prepared for it. It's not a tough strategy to check but that's what you have two other team mates for.
When the fuck are we getting a trick room setter ability?

In Doubles, a mon has to be already pretty good to become disgusting under Trick Room. That's why Torkoal and friends are steamrolling most teams right now.

>Weather, terrain, trick room, and trainers while in a double battle
hello 1 FPS
>my foe puts up trick room
>i put up my own trick room and reverse the effects
wow trick room how effective....

>wasting a move slot on trick room on a non-tr team when there are other more effective strategies that also check other things

>Battle Royal

No.
Last night I fought a nip who tried to set up trick room vikavolt, killed it in one hit and he rage quit. Was hilarious.

I love how this gen made terrains actually usable.
Now, we just need a "Tricky Surge" or "Wonder Surge" to make Trick Room and Wonder Room as viable.

How does it feel to be sub 1700?
