Shell smash is too slow for my taste (even with timid), but modest specs and AV are fun. He's not really OU viable, but if you like him enough you can make him work.

She can be useful as a spinblocker with shell trap and firium-z helps her wallbreak too.

It's not bad in doubles. Make it modest/quiet and run overheat or draco motor with firium/draconium Z. Let's you nuke something twice before having to switch.

Also it gets wide guard which is always nice. Let's you block an eq/rock slide while your team mate takes out the user of those moves.
