Bulu and Lele are great but what about this thing? Is it supposed to be good? I see it used on showdown a lot but I just don't get why. Other than being fast, it just meh.
It's fast and hits fairly hard, has coverage against grass types with brave bird, not to mention electric fairy is decent STAB and it can pivot with volt switch. Electric terrain is also good support for other electric types and rain.

epic
Tapu Koko has tons of options at least. What the fuck can this bitch do?
>>30482878
Does anyone know whether an ATK neutral nature and 4 EVs is enough for Brav Burd to 2HKO M-Venusaur, Amoonguss, and OHKO Breloom?
>>30483137
gee bill i don't know
if only there was some sort of calculator we could plug in numbers to find out... hmm...
>>30483137
4 Atk Life Orb Tapu Koko Brave Bird vs. 248 HP / 96+ Def Venusaur-Mega: 179-213 (49.3 - 58.6%) -- 98.8% chance to 2HKO
4 Atk Life Orb Tapu Koko Brave Bird vs. 248 HP / 168+ Def Amoonguss: 250-296 (58 - 68.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery
4 Atk Life Orb Tapu Koko Brave Bird vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Breloom: 608-717 (232.9 - 274.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
>>30483137
4 Atk Life Orb Tapu Koko Brave Bird vs. 248 HP / 96+ Def Venusaur-Mega: 179-213 (49.3 - 58.6%) -- 98.8% chance to 2HKO
>>30483136
Defense, really? Her ability sort of counters stall, so she doesn't work on a pure defense team. I'm sure there's defensive cores she fits into, but as of now she just sort of sucks
>>30483055
retard
>>30483136
>one of the best type combos in the game
>somehow worse than primarina
She can Defog+Nature's Madness, I guess?
What should i ev train my Bold tapu fini in? Defense and hp?

>>4 Atk Life Orb Tapu Koko Brave Bird vs. 248 HP / 96+ Def Venusaur-Mega: 179-213 (49.3 - 58.6%) -- 98.8% chance to 2HKO

>meanwhile veusaur is free to push your shit in with sludge bomb
ok
>>30483251
Nice rebuttal. I'm not the one posting mixed movesets with offense-hindering natures, fucko. You'd think the somgon forum that set was copy-pasted from would have slashed in a Naive nature.
>>30483348
What about a 252 atk koko
>>30483348
You don't stay in on Mega Venusaur, you use Brave Bird on a predicted switch-in.
>>30483348
>what are hazards and prediction
It's not a perfect answer, but if you have Secret Sediments up and predict the switch you're golden
>>30483368
Doesn't get Fairy STAB and has to rely on Wild Charge. Maybe that's worth a stronger Brave Bird and U-Turn, I dunno
>>30480229
>Physical attacker
>No physical fairy stab
What were they thinking?
>>30483368
Physical koko is surprisingly fun. Nobody ever expects u turn.
>>30483572
>Play Rough is still the only physical Fairy move
>>30483533
Why the fuck does Game Freak hate physical Electric so much?
Fucking Pikachu has practically ruined an entire goddamn type
>>30483572
Koko only has 135 base Attack for the sake of balance, with Electric Terrain boosting its Electric-type moves, it hits deceptively hard from the special side
It was intentionally designed this way, it's much more effective as a special attacker
>>30483753
Yeah it's fucking bullshit that they won't share Volt Tackle around because HAHA IT'S PIKACHU'S MOVE, when they even gave Bolt Strike to fucking Victini. Other shit comes to mind like giving Blaze Kick to that repulsive piece of shit Lucario
>>30483847
You mean 115 base Atk bruh
>Wild Charge
>90 BP
>recoil
>>30483709
>and doesn't even have 100%acc
>>30483136
fini can't make use of scald because of its own field correct?
>>30483887
Hitmonlee and Infernape also have Blaze Kick
>>30484006
It can't burn any Pokemon that's touching the ground, yes.
Flying-types and Pokemon with Levitate are unaffected by terrain though, and thus can still be burned.
>>30484006
It also can't use Rest, which would otherwise be its only way to recover health.

No point in 2HKOing those mons.

>>30485152

>>30483709
Silvally with the Fairy Memory has a 100% Accurate Play Rough essentially.
>>30485547
It means they don't get to switch in on Koko for free.
>>30485152
Based off a butterfly, supposedly. Looks sort of like a Nautilus to me
>>30485547
>use BB on predicted switch in
>50%+ damage
>click BB again
>outspeed
>Venumoongus ded
Although just going all out special attacker and Volt Switching out to something else is probably better than shredding your on hp in the process
All the Tapus have different niches. Koko is fine. Literally all that holds it back from being on EVERY team is it could use a couple more moves.
>>30484109
You mean besides Z-Refresh. It's pretty good on a Calm Mind as a non Knock off-able ChestoRest.
>>30485682
You could run Roost.
>>30480229
I've found he's pretty good at laying down a good foundation for the rest of my team with Taunt/T-Wave/Roar, with Volt Switch as an offensive/get the hell off the field move
>>30485152
is a sweet potato
>>30485854
It's way too frail to make use of it
>>30486184
If Crobat and Flygon can use Roost, I don't see what's stopping Koko.
>>30486490
Ground weakness
>>30486490

lel
>>30483136
She can be deadweight if you need that on a team
