Red card doesn't let your enemies choose which beast gets pulled in.

Also, with red card you prevent the opponent from setting up their own SD, DD, or any boosting move.

Think of it as a One-Time Levitate. Anything that would let you bypass Levitate because of their own abilities like Mold Breaker would apply to Disguise.

This is how I had to cheese it. My fucking lv34 Crobat couldn't outspeed this little shit, so I had to lead with Tsareena. He always Mimic'd first turn, letting me get a Trop Kick off, lowering his attack before I U-turn out.

Still nearly wiped, but it was the best I could do after 3 tries.
