OP here, i gave in and used BB for both.
I resetted like 4 times for the second Xurkitree because i wanted Timid HP Ice, the third time it was at low health and got out of 4 BB in a row then killed me. Fifth time threw one the first turn and i got it.

Took me one soft reset and a shitload of Max Potions (fuck you Gamefreak for making Hyper Potions useless) to get this fucker in a Pokeball.
What's a real challenge is getting Celesteela in a Pokeball before it struggles itself to death.
My False Swiper was Decidueye with no status moves so it's a miracle I managed to get every single UB in a standard ball.

Buzzwole does not know Earthquake in the wild. You double resist Lunge, which is the only attack it can use to damage Marowak.
Kartana can fuck you up though, only because its Attack stat is so high. Fortunately its Catch Rate is so high you barely have to worry about it breaking out, even at max health.
You resist Guzzlord's Heavy Slam, but it is a fat fuck and can still make quite a dent.
I will give you Power Gem, though.

Of course. It could definitely use the boost to speed, since it's pretty frail as is.
Sometimes when I enter Royals or the Tree, I use Electrium-Z-Terrain for +1 Speed, and then start Discharging/Thunderbolting/Energy-Balling and the Beast Boost turns it into a steamroll.
