Pretty much after 'lipper sets the rain it can either Tailwind or attack with Scald or Hurricane while Xurkitree attacks with 100% acc thunder. Gigavolt Havoc is for hitting bulkier mons or getting a guaranteed beast boost.

Any time an electric type shows up they always attack pelipper so I just switch in Dugtrio and laugh when they cant do anything.

It's got pretty good defenses and it's typing leaves it weak to only Ground type moves. I have him on my team as a hard counter to fairy types and Blissey since poison touch poison jab is almost sure to proc

Would pallosand be a half decent ground type to have besides dugtrio? He seems to have similar bulk to cradily but flipped. With 3 immunities I like him quite a bit, but his low speed/special defense even with amnesia might not be enough

That's why I have Pelipper for Tailwind, because besides my Dugtrio my team is a little on the slow side.
You just have to watch out for special water types. (Why it's ability doesn't negate water moves is beyond me)

It's a damn shame. He can tank physical water moves well using shore up, but most people would avoid using physical water moves on it anyways
