/vp/ was born in 2010, but back then it was still in /tr/ forme.

It got a forme change later down the line but when ORAS was announced lots of gloo gloo water trumpets and hoenn confirmed.

I was in middle school, so I wouldn't know. I didn't use 4chan until I was 18 unlike a lot of other people here.

I want to say I got Sapphire in 2003, and 4chan didn't exist yet then.

The closest thing to archived """4chan""" Pokemon discussion back in 2003 would probably be archived in the SomethingAwful forums.
Basically 4chan back then was relatively small and the userbase overlapped a lot with SomethingAwful's but even then that's a massive stretch for what you're looking for.
