Bring something with Compund eyes and Thief, then steal a thick club from wild cubones.

Stab or no, it has a good movepool and a Thick Club will carry you all the way to the elite 4. Once you get that far you can trade a heart scale for a ghost attack and should be high enough level to get a good fire move.
