Luck of the draw for me. I usually try to go balanced, but this time in poke-hawaii I pretty much kept on getting girls.

Soft reset for a good Litten, and said starter turned out to be a girl. So I just went screw it and stuck with her. Same with my Grimer, Cutiefly. Bonsweet is girl only, so that.

I ended up picking up a flygon close to endgame, and Minor is genderless.

I like when the majority of the team matches the gender of the trainer.

I always play a male in one version, and female in the other. Female gets mostly female Pokemon, male gets mostly male Pokemon.
The male also gets more masculine looking Pokemon, while the female tends to get the pretty feminine ones.

It's a quirk.
