It's been said repeatedly throughout the game that the reason Nebby is important is because his species can open the ultra wormholes with their power, so much that it was the entire reason Lusamine wanted it back

The other ultra beasts didn't seem to be able to get out, they probably got sucked in by the openings when they happened

She'll be fine, unless other Solgaleo or Lunala specificaly decides to pay a visit. Maybe Nebby's parents open up a hole to see her for taking care of their son but otherwise she'll be fine.

Their designs convey a lot of personality. And while they're overall good guys, they all do different things on their adventure. Their personalities aren't obvious, but they're there.

For example, Red. It was just to make him look like the player, but he has the quiet guy personlity. He doesn't talk much. He has a serious personality, and is someone who can't stand anyone doing something wrong. He also loves his Pokemon. And he worked hard to become the very best.
Now look at Brendan. He's a lot more carefree and fun loving guy. It wasn't the battles, it was the adventure he loved. Despite that, he had a lot of pride. He wanted to prove himself, to his Dad and everyone around him. And he did.

This is one thing I really love about the way GF designs their characters. They're all designed in such a way that one look at a character, and you know what they're all about. I would go as far as to say they make the best character designs in all of gaming industry.
This was done extremely well SM, but even the older gens have this. For example, Nanu or Lillie from SM. Just looking at them is enough to know what they're all about. I'm not saying their personalities are obvious. I mean that as in their design convey their personality.
