A failsafe added in 6th gen is that the final box will not unlock until you get the cover legendary to make sure you have space for it. Could that be it?

Actually I heard in BW, the cover dragon fucks off and respawn on Dragon spiral tower if your boxes are all full. Does anyone have footage of it fucking off and then respawning on the tower?

Are there unlockable wallpapers for the boxes in SM?

Either way it's not like it's difficult to keep this shit on hand, even if you've got a shiny living dex on top of the regular one. I have both completed with the regular living dex on X, the shiny on Y and all my competitive shit on AS with room to spare, plus all the boxes in OR free. When bank gets updated I'll be backing up those saves and transferring shit forward then restoring the saves so I don't have to keep bank subscribed for a while. If it runs out and they delete my shit, oh well, I have more.

Different anon, the first thing I did with all the Pokemon I was catching in the game was put one in each box. I had 32 boxes before I got off the first island, so it can't be a trigger like that. I was specifically checking to see if they added more boxes, and was disappointed when filling up the last couple didn't unlock more past 32, so I doubt I'm remembering wrong.

But I just tried putting a mon in all boxes again, and it worked this time. I'm assuming the first time I either accidentally missed a Box, or maybe at the time I actually hadn't beaten the game and I'm just remembering wrong. I'm assuming the later, considering PKHeX didn't even get it to open up.
