Looking at them as a hole, I don't think I've ever loved a dex more then this one. Maybe because there are less mons to worry about ? Gen 5's was so big I just couldn't pick almost anything to like (I eventually settled with Chandelure and Lilligant).

That's the problem with Alolan-forms. They could either make them more powerful than the original, in which case the old bad pokemon becomes even worse (See Alolan Raichu), or they try to change it into something else and it becomes awful (See Alolan Raticate).
