Did Happiness evolutions get harder this gen? I used to be able to do it in 20 minutes in ORAS but it takes almost 15-20 levels with soothe bell and massages in SM

Just put a soothe bell on them, and have ride tauros spin around in the enclosure in front of the nursery for a few minutes. Then level the mon once. Bam.

i dont know how many hearts they actually need, but i think my pichu evolved with two hearts
