I guess Lelouch ends up training mostly Steel types, for MAXIMUM defense to hide behind. Suzaku get the fighting types and trains with them personally.

Lelouch would also use a pokemon like Genisect and Type: Null/Silvally, since he's a pretty analytical guy, since his personalized Knightmare, the Shinkiro, needs a fucking Keyboard to use it's ABSOLUTE DEFENSE properly

Lulu definitely uses a Steel-favoring Team with walls and Lightscreens, stealthrock, burns, recovery, and anything to draw out a fight and fuck people up.
