I say those 4 are memorable specifically because

>Clemont - actually, now that I think about it, I may be attributing his memorableness to his anime equivalent. Although, he did help slightly with the power plant iirc, and interacted with the MC outside the gym, which is more than you can say about a lot of the gym leaders.
>Diantha - she's probably the least memorable champion, but her having some minimal involvement in the story makes her more memorable than most of the cast. Also people shit on her a bit too much for not remembering the MC imo

Who fucking knows with Diantha's team. It would've been interesting if it was like Alder's where bug was fairy for her. Especially considering it was the introduction generation for the type. Coulda had Slurpuff, Amoratisse to Alder's Accelgor and Escavalier. Luchabird, Gardevoir, and then two mid mons like Florges and vivillion or something fitting.
